The campaign commenced by E.ON wants to transmit the message that the safety of the family of the gas and electricity consumers is just as important for the E.ON employee as his own family. This represents a model of correct usage of natural gas installations and of electrical equipments both at work and at home and advises the consumers to strictly follow the safety rules, for the protection of their own families.
The correct usage of the natural gas installations and of the electrical equipments represents an essential condition to prevent unwanted events that can have major implications with the energy consumers and their families.
„The safety of the consumers that use natural gas and electric energy represents a continuous preoccupation for the E.ON companies in România. Despite all efforts to inform regarding the risks that inappropriate usage of gas and electrical equipments pose, the number of incidents continues to remain alarming. To safely benefit of the comfort offered by natural gas and electricity, attention and responsibility are needed. For that, E.ON commenced this new campaign meant to make aware the customer regarding the importance of observing the safety rules“, stated Mr. Frank Hajdinjak, General Director of E.ON România.
Focused on the direct informing of the customers regarding the golden rules that they must follow when using natural gas and electricity, the campaign contains, at the same time, an on-line contest, titled „Safety in energy“, which is rolled-out between January 1st – March 31st, 2010. By answering correctly to 10 questions, our customers can verify their knowledge about the safe usage of energy and they can win gas detectors, sets of energy-saving light bulbs and automatic fuses.
