Ist Prize, grades I-IV – Trip to Moldova

At the end of June 2008, the team from “Alexandru Ceuşianu” Secondary School in Reghin, comprising 8 students, spent unforgettable days in Moldova, on an exciting route: Lacu Roşu - Cheile Bicazului – the Monasteries of Agapia and Văratec – Humuleşti – Daracula’s Castle in Pasul Tihuţa – George Coşbuc Memorial House.

The children, who became real Super Safety Heroes through the knowledge they assimilated in the Educational “Natural Gas in Your Home”, had the time of their life during their trip together, when they visited some of the most representative areas of our country and also played in the courtyard of the house of the great narrator Ion Creangă, took and egg-painting class, visited the Spoon Museum in Câmpulung Moldovenesc and entered the cave full of surprises on the premises of the Dracula’s Castle in Pasul Tihuţa.

Sonia Moldovan (a IVth grader): “I visited many interesting places but I liked most the “Golden Crown” Hotel in Bistriţa, where the restaurant was very well organised, with many stuffed animals and bear furs.”

Andrei Greab (a Ist grader): “I liked Cheile Bicazului the most, as I like to climb, and there we could climb the rocks. Then at the Dracula’s Castle we had the most fun, as we got scared by a vampire, although we knew that was not true.”
